Interview with Comedy Writer, Screenwriter and Mathemetician, Warwick Holt

As part of the RMIT ‘A Bit of Chat’ series, I had ‘a bit of chat’ with Warwick Holt, one of Australia’s top comedy writers. As head writer on The Project, Warwick is not only the Winner of 5 AWGIE Awards, he also has a Masters degree in Applied Maths.

Today, I speak with him about the latest webseries, Bruce, a sitcom written by himself and Mat Blackwell and directed by Tony Rogers of Wilfred fame. It’s a story from the point of view of Australia’s first convicts, Bruce, who commits a petty crime so he can be transported to the new colony to be with his lady love, Daisy.
